PGPCET was established with the aim of providing quality higher education. It persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education on a consistent basis. The Academic monitoring committee takes care of the academics and curriculum as per the Anna University regulations. They are in charge of setting the structure to follow the curriculum through out the academics. This includes doing research on the various field. Moreover, they also handle the question paper setting for all the internal examinations conducted in the college.
The Admission Office is in charge of handling all aspects regarding admissions to the various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. They also manage the fees collection, counselling and handle the formalities related to admissions.
The Students Welfare looks after the various issues regarding permissions and supports the various events of clubs and chapters. The SW office also works closely with the Students Council body of the college and addresses the various concerns of students if any come up.
PGPCET has its own counselling division consisting of well trained counsellors who help the students with their emotional difficulties. They are always available on call and in their cabins, in various sectors of the university, during working hours to address any student’s need and to help solve their problems.
The survey department is in-charge of conducting regular feedback sessions, both from students and others in the college. They work towards making the college a better place by constantly taking into the consideration the opinions of its patrons.
The academic and other miscellaneous payments that are to be made by students such as course registrations, various hostel related payments like mess , rooms etc. or registration for co-curricular activities such as sports, gym etc., are taken care by the finance departments.
Public Relationship Office
The Public Relations Office is in charge of advertising about the institute and the various events that take place inside its campus. They are responsible for the proper documentation of events and publicising them through the media. They also handle the organisation of all the college festivals and actively work towards making them successes.
Human Resource Office
The Human Resources Team partners with members of the institute’s community to foster a work environment that attracts and inspires excellence in people. We provide quality HR services to attract, develop, motivate, engage and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive work environment. We do this with an emphasis on customer service based on constant consultation and communication.
